This year, nearly 30,000 people have put Spring in their pedals during Ride Anywhere Week 2025, celebrating the arrival of warmer and longer days by getting back in the saddle and embracing the benefits of biking.
Ride Anywhere Week took place during the first week of March 2025 and was all about getting people back in the saddle after a long, dark winter. As spring arrived, we encouraged riders to enjoy longer days, better weather, and the freedom of two wheels.
Riders who logged their trips were entered into prize draws to win cash prizes and our exclusive Love to Ride spring T-shirt.
This challenge is a key part of our behaviour change programme, helping new and occasional riders build riding habits as the seasons shift. Alongside resources on our platform, we supported participants with tailored emails, motivation tips, and shareable promo materials to make spring riding fun and accessible for all.

“For me, cycling is about being outdoors, seeing things that you don't usually see, banter with your mates, great cafe stops, keeping fit and, most importantly, making me feel fantastic both physically and mentally.
I've now bought 3 bikes via the Cycle to Work scheme, and I think it was through them that I heard about Love to Ride. It's a great app, I like the way you can quickly see how many miles you've done, you can set goals, see your achievements and win prizes. I'm attaching a photo of myself wearing the T-shirt, just before going out on my ride, and another photo of my local route, which is often like this - completely free of traffic. Thank you, Love to Ride, you inspire me to keep riding.”
Matthew C., Essex, UK
“I ride for my job as I am a Bikeability Instructor. I love sharing my passion for bikes and helping 'future' cyclists and drivers understand more about sharing the road with other traffic.
I ride for pleasure. I love nothing more than cruising the Essex lanes and taking advantage of our superb countryside.
I ride for fitness. My main sport is cycling. I race cyclocross and love entering long sportives to challenge myself.
I like Love to Ride because I love to read what other people are doing on their bikes - whether it is popping to the shops or climbing big mountains. I love that the community can include so many different people. If you cycle you are a cyclist! I wave at every cyclists :)”

“Love to Ride is a brilliant app; the information and support it provides really reinforces why I made the right choice to ditch the motorbike and switch to cycling instead. Life is good, and I'm hooked.”
